REGISTERED NURSE/UROLOGY-Office Based Procedural Setting- Maumee Part Time - Hourly -Less Than 24 Maumee, OH, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 4911 Toledo Clinic's Urology Department, RoMius Urology, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to work 1-2 days during the week (8-9 hours per day). This position will be trained to perform circulation, IV sedation, holding, and/ PACU duties in an office based procedural setting. This position will provide support at our Maumee Ohio location. An Ohio RN license is required. General Summary Perform circulating and IV sedation, holding, and/or PACU duties in the Office Based Procedural setting. Works under the supervision of the Clinical Manager of the Office Based Procedural setting. Consistently arrives at work on time and adheres to regular work schedule. Develops a plan of care based on patient health care data, procedure to be performed, and expected patient outcomes. Assists the physician by preparing, monitoring, educating, or recovering the patient in Office Based Procedural setting. When assigned to circulator duties the nurse will assist the IV sedation nurse to ensure patient safety and quality of care. Maintains documentation of nursing process for the care of the operative patient. Evaluates changes in procedure and updates physician preference cards. Other Essential Duties May Include but Are Not Limited To Prepares, cleans, and sets up disposable instruments for case support in the procedure room. Assists in counting sponges, sharps, and instruments. Participates in Quality Assurance/Improvement. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Required Consistently arrives at work in appropriate/professional attire. Completes all tasks within established time frame. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Maintains aseptic technique in accordance with AORN/ASPAN standards. Adheres to Universal Precaution Standards and clinic policies and procedures. Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed. Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles. Adheres to all clinic policies and procedure. Active and appropriate state RN licensure in good standing. BLS and ACLS certification. Preferred Previous Interventional Radiology experience or similar.
