Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,696 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Cleveland, Ohio. Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures, and report abnormal activity. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patients during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to maintain safeguards for patient and operator exposure. Apply knowledge of physiology and anatomy to interpret examination requests accurately. Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience. Board certification or active certification: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R). CCI and ARRT (VI) preferred. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. Must have state‑specific licensing when required. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, and bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
