Equipment Operator

Job Title: Equipment Operator (Transfer Station – Heber Springs, AR)

Starting Pay: $20.00/hr. | Weekly Pay

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM start time | 10+ hour shifts

1st Saturday of every month: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Job Overview:

Waste Connections is looking to hire a full-time Equipment Operator for our Heber Springs Transfer Station. This role is ideal for someone with front end loader and excavator experience who takes pride in safe, efficient work and being part of a team that keeps operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate heavy equipment including front end loader and excavators to move and load solid waste

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at the transfer station

• Inspect equipment daily and communicate issues to maintenance

• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Assist with any additional duties as needed.

What You Need to Bring:

• 2+ years experience operating front end loader equipment and excavators

• A strong safety mindset and attention to detail

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
