System AdministratorAn innovative and growing manufacturing company in Naperville is seeking a System Administrator to support internal users and act as the technical liaison between the business and its Managed Services Provider (MSP). This is a critical position supporting both day-to-day IT needs and long-term infrastructure improvements.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work, is highly organized, and can communicate effectively across departments—from engineers to executives. You'll work directly with manufacturing and engineering teams and play a key role in ensuring secure, stable, and optimized systems.Your Day-to-Day:Deliver hands-on system administration and support across the organizationManage desktop hardware/software, network systems, infrastructure apps, and backupsHandle day-to-day break/fix, upgrades, patching, deployments, and hardware lifecycleProvide onsite and remote technical support, escalating to third-party vendors as neededCollaborate with leadership to evaluate and implement IT solutions company-wideOversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware provisioning and trainingMaintain hardware asset inventory and manage equipment dispositionWork with the engineering and manufacturing departments to optimize operational IT systemsWhat We're Looking For:3+ years of experience in a managed services or in-house support roleStrong desktop support and systems administration backgroundExperience with break/fix, asset management, desktop imaging, and remote support toolsExcellent communicator who can work with users at all levelsProactive, highly organized, and confident managing IT vendors and third-party supportExperience supporting technical environments in manufacturing is a plusComfortable managing internal tickets and documentationMust be local to Naperville, ILWork Schedule:Monday–Thursday: Full-day onsiteFridays: Half-day, work-from-homeCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salary: $80,000–$95,000Medical & Dental (employee contributes only 15%)Vision, Life, STD/LTD (100% employer-paid)Company-funded HSA401(k) with 4% matchProfit-sharing & annual performance bonusesDaycare stipend: $400/monthGym membership or home fitness equipment stipendWellness incentive program (earn up to $3,000/year in gift cards)Paid certifications & training support$400/year in company apparelCatered lunches twice a month11 paid holidays136 hours of PTO in your first year + 40 hours available from day one Bowman Williams
