Legal Billing SpecialistOur client is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist to join their team in Downtown Cincinnati. The ideal candidate will have prior legal billing experience and a strong understanding of billing systems, client guidelines, and invoice processes.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and process legal invoices in accordance with client billing guidelinesManage the full billing cycle including time entry review, edits, and finalization of invoicesEnsure compliance with complex billing requirements, including electronic billing (e-billing) systemsTrack and follow up on outstanding invoices and assist with collections as neededWork closely with attorneys and staff to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accuracyMaintain detailed billing records and documentationSubmit invoices through e-billing platforms and respond to billing rejections or appealsGenerate reports related to billing, accounts receivable, and financial trackingQualifications2+ years of legal billing experience requiredStrong knowledge of legal billing processes and e-billing systems (e.g., Aderant, Elite, or similar)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reportingHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teamsAdditional DetailsFirst shift, Monday through FridayDirect hire opportunity with long-term growth potentialSalary range of $55,000 to $70,000 annually, based on experienceThis is a great opportunity for a billing professional looking to grow their career within a stable and professional environment in the Cincinnati market.
