About Us

Thermal Concepts delivers reliable, high-quality HVAC services to commercial customers throughout the region. Our experienced team specializes in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems. What you'll do

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead.
• Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to determine project requirements.
• Lead the preparation and submission of competitive and comprehensive bid proposals.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to obtain pricing and project information.
• Conduct site visits and field inspections to assess project conditions and verify scope requirements.
• Mentor and support junior estimators, providing guidance on estimating processes and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients throughout the estimating and bidding process.
• Identify potential project risks, cost concerns, and scope gaps, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, bid summaries, and presentations for management and project stakeholders.

Position Requirements

What we are looking for

• 8+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a strong background in commercial or large-scale projects.
• Proven experience developing detailed estimates and competitive bids for complex, large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, labor requirements, and project costs.
• Proficiency with Trimble AutoBid or similar construction estimating software.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with mechanical field installation or commercial HVAC construction is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
