Title: Service Administrator

Reports to : Service Director 

Location : DMG MORI Technical Center

Hours : Monday through Friday, core business hours

Classification : Non-Exempt

Salary Range : $65,000 (will depend on skill level and experience)

Travel : 5%

Employment is conditioned on DMG MORI's ability to obtain and maintain any necessary export licensing.

This position functions and reports physically in the office, and will support the service coordinator, service engineers and application engineers. Individual will work closely with the service coordinator to support service requests, installations, machine shipments, trainings. Individual will coordinate purchasing, shipping, and receiving logistics with customers and vendors on a regular basis.

• This position functions and reports physically in the office
• Support Service Coordinators and Manager by communicating with customers regarding service engineer schedules or changes
• Communicate directly with the customer on Service calls
• Help manage Service work orders 
• Weekly processing of installation reports
• Process warranty parts orders to support field service requirements
• Responsible for ordering parts domestically and internationally
• Manage shipping arrangements for service tooling and return of defective parts from customers
• Assist in machine logistics; invoicing and vendor orders when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
• 2+ years related experience 
• Experience ordering parts preferred
• Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Skills
• Experience working in a field service office environment 
• Exceptional organization skills and flexibility working in a fast-paced setting
• Experience with SAP, Baan, or similar ERP system s

Work Environment : 

General office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.

Physical Demands:

Frequent: Sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones, standing and walking.

Periodic: Repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements.

Occasional: Business travel. Bending, squatting, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
