Graphics SpecialistGraphics Specialist to support Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Supply Chain Management in Clearfield, Utah. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating drawings to meet United States Air Force (USAF) drawing standards and formats to be incorporated into Joint Engineering Data Management Information and Control System (JEDMICS).Key Duties:Prepare presentation graphics and support the development of contract deliverables and reports by developing and updating graphic presentations to improve the quality and enhance the usability of these documents.Responsible for integrating the graphics generated with automated tools and deliverable documents.Responsible for graphics design, use, operation, and setup of computer graphic systems.Execute graphic projects and assist in coordination of all graphic production scheduling.Coordinate production support with outside vendors, as needed.Ensure that graphic projects are completed on time, within budget and to user's satisfaction.Interface with users to determine scope of project and best graphic medium.Create and modify detailed drawings using standard computer aided design (CAD) digitizing techniques and skills from sketches, layouts or notes provided by engineering.Digitize, edit, and revise engineering drawings of components, parts, circuits, structures, and/or assemblies.Check drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards.Work with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, drafting standards and Engineering Change documentation.Make engineering computations, mathematical calculations, determine scales, and prepare or revise specifications.Required Skills, Experience, and Education:Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. 5 or more years of related experience OR 10 or more years of related experience with related certifications and a High School diploma. Considerable knowledge and experience with SolidWorks and 3D modeling. Ability to work on complex projects independently. Thorough knowledge of graphics systems and graphics application packages, including desktop publishing, CAD, GIS, design packages, HTML, multimedia, and other graphics applications. Experience with checking drawings for correctness and conformance to standards. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:Active Secret Clearance or high.
