PSC Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Huntsville, Alabama patient service center. The role involves collecting blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques, processing patient data, and delivering customer service. Position runs Tuesday–Friday 12:30–4:30 pm and Saturday 8:00 am–12:00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic purposes
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
- Process billing information and collect payments from patients
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- 3+ months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
