Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate dependable and professional Home Care Aides (HCAs) to provide non-medical in-home care services to seniors adults and children with disabilities throughout Alameda County over the weekends.

Availability/Schedule:
- Saturday and Sundays 9am - 2pm
- If you availability doesnt match perfectly you are still encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

- Provide companionship and emotional support

-Assist with personal care including bathing grooming dressing and toileting

-Assist with ambulation and transfers as needed

-Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary

-Perform light housekeeping and laundry

- Provide medication reminders

-Assist with errands shopping and transportation

- Observe and report changes in client condition

-Maintain accurate service documentation

Qualifications/ Requirements

-Weekend availability

-California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or willingness to obtain registration before hire

- Reliable transportation requirement to travel anywhere in Alameda County

-Ability to communicate effectively in English (bilingual is a plus)

-Previous caregiving home care CNA or personal care experience

-CPR and First Aid certification or willingess to obtain
-Experience supporting individuals with dementia
- Authorized to work in the United States

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
