Work Environment\n

This role offers a remote work setting, allowing you to connect compassionately with patients from the comfort of your own space. You will have the ability to tailor your therapy environment to your personal preferences while still engaging with a multidisciplinary team. Our clinic fosters a collaborative spirit where therapists, psychiatrists, and support staff work cohesively to ensure integrated care for patients. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate unique patient circumstances.

  • Conduct trauma-informed assessments that evaluate patients' histories and determine suitable treatment options.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience strategies, tailor-made to meet each patient’s specific needs.

  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that aid clients in processing their trauma, establishing effective coping mechanisms, and encouraging personal healing.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

  • Provide crisis intervention and immediate support when patients encounter trauma-related emergencies.
  • \n
  • Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping methods, and available local and community resources.
  • \n
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure the integrity of patient records.

  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

  • Stay informed about the latest research publications and best practices in trauma therapy to deliver the most effective interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals recovering from various forms of trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our patient base will require you to navigate sensitive topics with compassion and professionalism while adapting your therapeutic techniques to fit their unique journeys. Together, we aim to build resilience in each individual, encouraging a sense of empowerment throughout the recovery process.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
  • \n
  • Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and familiarity with trauma-related disorders and treatments.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish trusting relationships with clients while employing a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to treatment.

  • Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
  • \n
  • Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other essential computer technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably focused on trauma recovery.
  • \n
  • Experience using trauma-focused therapeutic interventions, and familiarity with a variety of evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
