Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. The role requires availability for night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate medical staff.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient needs and improve care outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience: Prior acute care facility experience is preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensing in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification is required.
