Mechanical Engineer

Overview As a mechanical engineer for Intelligence Systems, you’ll be a mechanical design engineer on a cross functional team responsible for creating innovative hardware solutions for demanding environments. Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Responsibilities We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Proficiency in mechanical CAD (especially CREO) Detailed mechanical design and drawings/documentation Mechanical analysis (structural and thermal) Job requirements Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings (CREO highly preferred) Structural and thermal analysis Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects Strong communication skills with ability to write technical papers and proposals Clearance requirements Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
