In this role, you will be responsible for verifying, packing, and loading outbound shipments, including LTL and full truckloads, while maintaining accuracy and product integrity.Primary Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesVerify and pack all outbound LTL and truck load shipments for correct quantities and itemsEnsure the optimum loading of all outbound trailers for accuracy, integrity, load sequence, and maximized "cube" shipmentsVerify for proper loading to ensure safe transit of material to customersHelp control flow of people, equipment, and product on dock as it pertains to completion of orders, receipt of incoming, and transfers within inter-plantMust be able to operate digital scalesOther duties as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required1+ year(s) of related experienceAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphsAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situationsGeneral Applicable Company CompetenciesCommitment to Watts' values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency.Punctuality and dependability.Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.Adherence to Watts' seven cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for long periods of time.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds.Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.Working ConditionsWhile performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a Distribution Center facility. You will be required to work at the Company's Groveport location in Ohio.
