Job Details Location: Buchanan County Jail – St. Joseph, MO Schedule: Full‑Time 5p-5a NIGHTS - Rotating Weekends Vaccines: Not required Salary: $40.00 - $40.00 Hourly Item Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) About the Role As a licensed practical nurse (LPN), you will provide direct patient care under the direction of a registered nurse, working with a multidisciplinary team to address the unique healthcare needs of inmates. Key Responsibilities Deliver individualized nursing care based on patient needs. Administer medications and treatments per protocol. Monitor and document patient conditions and progress. Work collaboratively with RNs, providers, and facility staff. Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies. Qualifications Active, unrestricted LPN license (Missouri). CPR certification (Healthcare Provider level). Ability to pass a background check. Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
