Distribution Center Supervisor

Position Overview: The Floor supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily activities operations of a distribution center within multi-brands. This includes but is not limited to ensuring customer orders picked, packed, assigning daily work, addressing performance issues, establishing standards and procedures and resolving problems. What You’ll Do: Supervise development and performance of 12+ fulfillment center associates, including daily operational procedures. Supervise daily e-commerce and wholesale floor and DC operations, including picking and packing customers’ orders. Process and verify wholesale orders for accuracy Manage and monitor customer orders through the Shopify platform Track orders and resolve fulfillment issues though Shopify Train and coach new and existing employees Coordinate closely with DC staff to ensure that monthly shipping target is achieved. Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and within service level agreements (SLAs) Familiarity with WMS, ERP, and ecommerce Shopify systems. Monitor attendance, schedules and employee productivity and provide on-hand coaching Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping. Keep upper management informed of problems or situations that may affect the performance of your department. Conduct monthly safety meetings with department personnel. Who You Are: High school diploma or equivalent required (college degree preferred or equivalent Fulfilment experience). Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong communication and leadership skills. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fulfillment or operations supervisory role. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Knowledge of Order fulfillment software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Ecommerce procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables), Word, Outlook, and other MS Office applications. Strong practical problem-solving and technical skills.Ability to follow through on tasks, assignments, and job duties in a timely manner.
