Title: Nutrition Team Float (5 hrs per day) - District Wide

Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking applicants for a Nutrition Team Float position serving Milton High School and other district schools. This position requires travel between schools, so flexibility is essential.

The position is scheduled for five (5) hours per day, totaling twenty-five (25) hours per week, with a workday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The anticipated start date is August 19, 2026. The starting wage for Nutrition Team members is $17.15 per hour. Additional compensation available for candidates with prior food service experience and/or experience working in a food service school setting.

Qualifications:
The School District of Milton is seeking reliable individuals to join our Nutrition Services team. Responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and serving meals to students; cleaning and sanitizing tables; washing dishes; completing required documentation; and assisting with other kitchen duties as needed.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, communicates effectively, and works well as part of a team. This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Previous food service experience is preferred. Candidates should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to both hot and cold conditions.
