Engineering Intern

Airflow Sciences Corporation is accepting applications for the following position: Airflow Sciences Corporation, Livonia, Michigan, is an engineering consulting company that designs and tests a wide range of fluid dynamic equipment. Analysis and design techniques include Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling, laboratory testing, and field measurements at client sites. Our customers hire us to optimize the design and operation of their plants and products. Current clients include energy companies, pollution control manufacturers, food processing companies, biotechnology firms, auto suppliers, and aerodynamic designers. Aerospace or mechanical engineering students with a strong background and interest in fluid dynamics and heat transfer, please apply. Job tasks may include: Design of lab experiments and test fixtures Measurement of flow properties in lab experiments Reporting and presentations R&D experimentation, wind tunnel testing Travel to client sites in N. America to perform flow testing Software coding / programming Technical writing, graphics, and video creation This position is based in our Livonia, Michigan headquarters.
