• Salary: $40,000–$50,000 annually (Based on experience) + Benefits

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who loves helping children learn, grow, and thrive. As an RBT, you’ll bring evidence-based strategies to life in everyday moments, helping care recipients develop communication, social, and daily living skills that make a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in care recipients’ homes and community settings under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity, empathy, and consistency.
• Support care recipients in developing communication, social, adaptive, and functional living skills.
• Collect and accurately document session data using electronic systems such as CentralReach or Rethink.
• Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA regarding progress, barriers, and clinical observations.
• Participate in caregiver training and support caregivers in reinforcing skills outside of therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all applicable professional and ethical standards.
• Build positive, professional relationships with care recipients, caregivers, and members of the clinical team.

Required:

• Active RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Minimum 1 year of RBT experience , including at least 1 year working in a professional/company setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, behavior analysis, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience providing ABA services or working with children, particularly children with autism or developmental differences, preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Comfort providing services in clients’ homes and partnering directly with caregivers.
• Strong communication, observation, organization, and time-management skills.
• Positive energy, professionalism, dependability, and a genuine passion for helping children and families.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time, salaried position.
• Services are generally scheduled between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM , depending on client needs and schedules.
• Some evening and weekend availability may be required.
• Services are provided in clients’ homes in the Charlotte, NC area.
• This is an on-site/in-home position and is not remote or hybrid.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Relocation

Candidates interested in relocating to the Charlotte area may be considered. Relocation assistance is not currently offered for RBT positions.
