Education: Undergraduate degree preferred. Litigation support experience valued.

Required Skills: Under the direction of Task Supervisor or Document Management Analyst, performs the following tasks while complying with established procedures for: filing, retrieving, and copying case file materials; creating witness binders; preparing deposition and trial exhibits; entering data on-line to case files and other databases; proofreading, editing, correcting OCR'd text files; retrieving and blowing back documents and digital image media; tabbing, numbering, labeling, assembling documents; filling out log sheets and reporting on task progress; and performing quality control on the work of peers in all of these areas.
Prepares documents for image scanning; performs other document collection related activities, including document screening, and labeling of files to be scanned. Performs simple database searches.
Ability to perform detailed work consistently, accurately, and under pressure extremely important. Must be able to read and follow instructions.
Must be able to understand task, task objectives, and the context of the task in the litigation support effort as a whole.
Must take the initiative to ask questions when necessary to complete task correctly (e.g. where instructions are not explicit or appear to be contrary to the task objective). Must have typing/keyboarding skills and good communication skills. Must be knowledgeable user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, database, spreadsheet, imaging, and telecommunications systems.

Day-to-day Responsibilities: The contract staff will assist with the range of activities outlined below, working directly with Antitrust Division government staff who will provide guidance and feedback. Work must be performed with strict adherence to high-quality standards and within specific time frames as required by ATR management and legal teams.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
• Reviewing, organizing, reboxing, and preparing records in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) requirements. The contractor shall create detailed box inventories identifying the contents at the individual folder level to ensure accurate records accountability and retrieval. All work shall be performed in compliance with applicable federal records management policies, records disposition schedules, chain of custody requirements, and NARA guidance governing records transfers to the WNRC.
• The contractor should have experience with managing litigation or legal case files, including organizing, inventorying, indexing, and preparing records for archival storage or transfer.
• The contractor shall possess working knowledge of NARA records management requirements, federal records disposition schedules, and procedures for transferring records to the Washington National Records Center.
• Experience handling sensitive law enforcement or litigation-related records with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail is also required."
