What You Will Be Doing Orchestrate all plant operations including advanced custom fabrication, master scheduling, strategic procurement, and end-to-end outbound logistics to guarantee world-class delivery metrics. Champion a lean culture by acting as the primary mentor on the floor, instilling personal accountability, cross-functional safety standards, and rigorous 5S cleanliness guidelines. Partner with the production manager to diagnose workflow bottlenecks, streamline resource allocation, and bridge communication perfectly between engineering and the shop floor. Drive operational cost-reduction strategies by analyzing material yields, optimizing vendor freight programs, and leading proactive waste elimination initiatives. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to analyze plant throughput, evaluate prospective CapEx equipment investments, and implement standardized best practices.
