Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN – GU/GYN/Transplant – Wisconsin

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, primarily 6:40 AM - 7:10 PM, three times weekly with potential for one 9:40 AM - 10:10 PM shift biweekly. Weekend rotation and weekday call requirement included.

Highlights:

• Specialty focus on kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, urology, and gynecologic oncology procedures
• Advanced robotic surgery experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Diverse case mix including HOLEP, cystectomy, nephrectomy, hysterectomy, ureteroscopy, laparoscopic gynecology, and organ procurement
• Epic electronic medical record system
• Work at a Magnet-designated facility recognized as one of the nation's leading teaching hospitals
• Two pre-approved time off periods during assignment

Requirements:

• Active RN License required
• BLS Certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care OR experience within the last 3 years
• Demonstrated experience in urology, gynecology/oncology, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, and robotic surgery
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Must pass telemetry competency exam with strict passing criteria prior to start
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Willing to float as needed within scope of practice
