Schedule: 3x12s Day Shift

Assignment Details: Minimum experience of 1 year required.

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Surgical Technologist in the state required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of AORN standards preferred.
• Must possess the computer skills necessary to complete online learning requirements.
• Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Responsibilities:

• Assist during surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile surgical field and providing instrumentation.
• Check and maintain all items for proper packaging, processing, and sterility.
• Monitor the sterile field and notify of any contamination events.
• Participate in patient transports and room turnovers as needed.
• Model effective communication with the perioperative team.
• Prepare instruments for terminal sterilization.
