Behavior Technician

POSITION TITLE: BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN

START DATE: Beginning of 2026-27 school year. CLOSING DATE: For best consideration please apply by June 18, 2026. However, position will be open until filled. SALARY SCHEDULE: Rate of pay will be $16.78 per hour.

JOB SUMMARY

The applicant must be able to relate to students in a positive and supportive manner, reinforce individual goals, and collect and document data on student progress on a variety of goals. The applicant will communicate progress to staff, remain flexible as assignments and students change daily, work in an environment without daily direct supervision, ask for help or direction when needed, and participate in training. Educational experience is preferred but not required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent, and successful completion of a minimum of 32 semester credits leading to a Bachelor's degree, or passing the State of Idaho approved Parapro Assessment test.
