Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to design effective treatment plans based on individual client needs. \n
- Provide a range of therapeutic services, including individual, group, family, and couples therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices. \n
- Tailor your therapeutic approaches, incorporating methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to meet diverse client needs. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure clients receive holistic care. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training, ensuring your practice remains aligned with current research and methodologies in mental health. \n
Our primary focus is on underserved populations who face barriers to accessing mental health care. You will work with clients dealing with a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role as an LPC will be critical in providing these individuals with the support they need to overcome challenges and improve their quality of life.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. \n
- Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. \n
- A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic context. \n
- A solid understanding of legal and ethical guidelines relevant to mental health practice. \n
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, enabling rapport-building with diverse client populations. \n
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment. \n
