490 Truck Stop is looking for a dependable and friendly Line Cook / Cashier to join our team. This is a great position for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced convenience store environment and is comfortable working independently.

The main responsibility of this position will be preparing our morning breakfast sandwiches. The menu and preparation process are straightforward, and full training will be provided . You do not need to be an experienced cook—we are looking for someone who is reliable, willing to learn, and takes pride in keeping the food area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast sandwiches and other food items according to our recipes and procedures
• Set up and prepare the food area each morning
• Maintain proper food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation
• Operate the cash register and accurately process customer transactions
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Stock food, beverages, and other products as needed
• Keep the kitchen, counter, and work areas clean and organized
• Monitor food supplies and notify management when items need to be restocked
• Follow all company policies and food safety procedures
• Assist with general store duties when needed

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Previous cooking or cashier experience is helpful but not required
• Must be able to maintain a clean and organized work area
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform routine lifting and stocking duties

Training

No extensive cooking experience is required. We will provide training on preparing the breakfast sandwiches, food preparation procedures, register operation, and store policies. Once trained, the breakfast preparation process is fairly simple and straightforward. You are also working with a team in the morning to make the processes go smother.
