What You ll Do:
Provide outpatient neurology consultations, follow-ups, and scheduled proceduresConduct emergency neurology on-call services, reporting within 45 minutes; respond within 10 minutes by phoneParticipate in resident teaching and supervise clinical training at James H. Quillen VA Medical CenterCommunicate test results promptly and ensure proper documentation of patient encountersOffer clinical oversight for residents and fellows, promoting an educational environmentContribute to clinical research projects, protocol development, and quality assurance initiativesEngage with multidisciplinary teams to foster high-quality patient care
What You Need:
Board certified or eligible in Neurology (American Board of Internal Medicine or similar)Valid, active medical license in the U.S. (state or federal)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and within a collaborative team environmentCommitment to high standards of patient care and resident education
