Senior Software Engineer

Role Description

As a Senior Software Engineer at LemonEdge, you’ll own meaningful parts of our accounting platform, from data model to production. You’ll design and ship the features and services that move fund operations from manual and fragile to automated and dependable.

• Build alongside a market in the middle of real change in private capital.
• Ship features directly to fund administrators and asset managers.
• Keep a living codebase healthy and trusted.
• Use AI-assisted development pragmatically with clear guardrails.

LemonEdge is a remote-first company. This role is open to candidates based in the United States who can work core Eastern Time hours. Expect occasional travel for team and customer onsites, typically up to four times per year. The role participates in an engineering on-call rotation, which is light and infrequent.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building production software, with a track record of shipping non-trivial systems on committed timelines.
• Strong technical depth in a modern server-side stack; .NET / C# preferred.
• Demonstrated success improving an existing platform at scale.
• Comfort across the full delivery lifecycle in a cloud-hosted SaaS environment.
• Working fluency with AI-assisted development tools.
• A high bar for quality and ownership of code.
• Self-direction and pragmatism in problem-solving.
• Strong written communication and collaborative working style.

Requirements

• Experience operating SaaS systems on Kubernetes or a comparable cloud-native platform.
• Background in fintech, fund administration, or partnership accounting.
• Experience defining team-level guardrails for AI-assisted development.
• Experience contributing to a platform migration or modernization.
• Experience operating in an early-stage or high-growth environment.
