Clinical Research Associate II, Phase I - California

Fortrea seeks a Clinical Research Associate II with Phase I experience to manage study site monitoring, regulatory compliance, and data integrity for clinical trials. The role is based in California and requires 1+ years of clinical monitoring experience with significant travel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine monitoring and close-out of clinical study sites, including pre-study and initiation visits
- Verify informed consent procedures and protocol adherence per regulatory requirements
- Review Case Report Forms and source documents for data integrity, query generation, and resolution
- Complete Serious Adverse Event reporting and follow-up documentation
- Coordinate clinical projects as Local Project Coordinator with site liaison responsibilities
Requirements
- University or college degree or allied health certification from accredited institution
- 1+ years of clinical monitoring experience
- Phase I trial experience
- 40-50% overnight travel capability
- Proficiency with electronic data management systems
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate vehicle safely
Compensation: $100,000-$120,000
