Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, conducting physical exams and compiling comprehensive medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging and laboratory results
• Work in partnership with surgeons to devise and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide key support during surgeries, including operating room preparation, patient positioning, and instrument coordination
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, patient education, and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Master's degree obtained from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• A background in surgical rotations is highly desirable

Certifications

• Active certification as a PA-C
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• Possession of state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing as a Physician Assistant
