Schedule: Full-Time Monday–Friday (No weekends)
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour (based on credentials and experience)
Sign On Bonus: $500 (Credentials, Experience and Schedule*)

At The Learning Experience – O-Town West/Lake Buena Vista area , we are more than a childcare center—we are a place where children learn, grow, and thrive. We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and engaging VPK/Preschool Lead Teacher to guide a classroom of children ages 4–5 years.

This role is ideal for an educator who brings energy, structure, and heart into the classroom , understands developmentally appropriate practices , and values strong relationships with children, families, and their team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment aligned with Florida licensing standards
• Lead daily instruction using our L.E.A.P.® Curriculum while incorporating creativity and play-based learning
• Implement lesson plans, assessments, and ongoing observations to support each child’s development
• Maintain active supervision at all times to ensure child safety and compliance
• Build strong relationships with families through daily communication, our mobile app, and conferences
• Collaborate with leadership to support enrollment, retention, and overall classroom excellence
• Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with VPK and DCF requirements
• Model professionalism, teamwork, and a positive center culture
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Florida Staff Credential or National CDA (required if no ECE degree)
• ECE coursework, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Completion of DCF 45 Hours (Required)
• Completion of VPK training requirements (Required)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of start)
• Ability to meet all DCF licensing and background screening requirements
• Strong classroom management and understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
• Ability to work a full-time schedule (Monday–Friday)
• Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs, sit on the floor, and actively engage with children
