If you are seeking an organization where you can develop clinical expertise, explore diverse career opportunities, embrace learning, cultivate new relationships, and fuel your spirit of inquiry, apply today.The VAT nurse will be responsible for a variety of responsibilities including: performing comprehensive vascular assessments, insert & manage peripheral IV's/midlines/PICC lines using ultrasound guidance and aseptic technique, respond to VAT consults across ICU, PCU, Med/Surg, Maternal Child Health, and ED, monitor & trouble shoot vascular access devices for patency/infection/mechanical issues, educate patient & staff, maintain accurate documentation, adhere to infection control protocols & hospital policies, participate in quality improvement initiatives, serve as a resource & mentor to nursing staff regarding vascular access best practices, and collaborate with leadership to grow & enhance the hospital's vascular access program.**We prefer this position holder to have a current Vascular Access Certification (VA-BC) and prefer a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with a strong preference in vascular access experience.
