Molding OperatorThe Molding Operator is responsible for running and monitoring machinery to assist in the production of molded products. This includes tasks such as setting up molds, adjusting machine settings, inspecting finished products for quality control, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the production process.RequirementsSet up various parts for molding.Preparation of molds for filling with epoxy, degassing and processing.Breakdown molds and reviewing quality prior to being processed to finish product.Maintain proper inventory levels of epoxy based on production requirements.Coordinate weekly production to meet customer and inventory demands.Cleaning and maintaining equipment.Required Skills/Abilities:Assembly – Assemble equipment, and sub-assemblies.Quality Control – Conduct tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality or performance.Equipment Selection – Determine the kind of tools and equipment to do a specific task.Troubleshooting – Determine the cause of operating errors and decide corrective action.Ability to read and understand process instructions and drawings.Attention to detail and following directions.Education/Experience:The candidate should have a minimum of three years' work experience with a strong mechanical and electrical background.Preferably 1 – 3 years of experience as a Molding Operator, but on-the-job training will be supplied.Ability to work independently or with a team and willingness to take on numerous assignments.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) StatementWasik complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and provides reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities.
