Pay: $62,664 - $88,342 Schedule: Evening or NightKey Responsibilities:Perform routine and specialized blood bank testing, including ABO/Rh typing, antibody screening, crossmatching, and compatibility testingPrepare, store, and issue blood components for transfusion in accordance with established protocolsInvestigate and resolve transfusion reactions and discrepancies in blood typing or antibody identificationOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and performanceEnsure adherence to regulatory standards, including AABB, CAP, FDA, and CLIA guidelinesQualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Clinical Laboratory ScienceCertification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by ASCP, AMT, or an equivalent accrediting bodyBlood Bank Specialist (SBB) certification is a plusState licensureStrong knowledge of immunohematology and transfusion medicineThis is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team and make a significant impact on patient care.
