What You Will Do Lead the local supply chain function and the development of the overall plant logistics strategy by working with production, the division, and business leaders to implement a world-class execution and delivery system. Direct management and career development of a 20+ member team, including organizational design, performance management, and succession planning. Own the 3-year strategic roadmap for the Manufacturing Supply Chain department, aligning plant capacity with Global growth objectives. Collaborate with the plant manager for appropriate BCP for the business. Serve as a core member of the plant leadership team, driving a safety culture and 100% compliance with Quality and Environmental missions. Full accountability for the logistics budget, inventory financial trends, and cost-reduction initiatives related to material flow and vendor liability. Drive cost optimization through advanced value engineering initiatives across key raw material and packaging components categories that represent the highest spend. Expand Global Supplier Risk Management to include geopolitical and ESG factors across all critical suppliers. End-to-end accountability for new product launches, from feasibility studies and cost estimation to final production attainment. Develop and implement advanced inventory control systems to improve material flow and minimize excess/obsolete stock. Oversee the maintenance and evolution of Material Planning (MRP) and related tools to drive operational efficiency. Implement a targeted professional development program focusing on advanced digital tools and analytics for decision-making. Act as the primary decision-maker for production prioritization, balancing service requirements with plant stability. Direct the local supply chain and logistics function to meet or exceed established service levels. Oversee monthly Master Production Schedule (MPS) planning, product launches, and planning of components and raw materials. Drive continuous improvement and coordinate manufacturing operations to meet service levels and demand. Assess resource availability for launches and promotions, and provide recommendations during Production plan validation. Approve Sales Forecast and initiate changes as necessary based on plant capacity. Own Contract Manufacturing: coordinate requirements with subcontractors and develop a roadmap to bring operations in-house when financially sensible. Participate in plant trending and budgeting. Review stock status and report anomalies to the division and plant management committee. Strategize inventory coverage and value mapping with geopolitical considerations to ensure service sustainability. Work closely with demand planning and participate in reliable forecast analysis to reduce E&O impacts. Advance Sustainable Sourcing Initiatives Beyond Packaging to include key raw materials with high environmental or social impact. Lead a logistics team to achieve service levels, agility, inventory health, and performance metrics; foster a high-performing team culture. Be the SRM for both contract manufacturers and raw material/suppliers. What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications: BS/BA in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Management (MBA highly preferred). Minimum 10-12 years of leadership experience in manufacturing supply chain operations within a cosmetics environment. Proven People Leadership: experience leading and developing large teams (20+). Strategic Mastery: knowledge of plant logistics KPIs, P&L management, and advanced MRP/ERP systems. Decision-Making: ability to make autonomous, high-stakes decisions impacting profitability. Computer skills including spreadsheets, pivot tables, presentations, graphics software, and database management. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Plan component inventories and maintain planning parameters within budgeted levels. Must wear PPE and maintain safety standards. Visual/auditory acuity to operate equipment and respond to warning alarms. Demonstrate 100% personal responsibility for departmental outcomes. Ability to thrive with minimal supervision as the leader of the Manufacturing Supply Chain function. High level of professional judgment and decision-making under pressure. Ability to deliver world-class results through team empowerment.
