Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for laboring mothers and their babies.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vitals during labor and post-partum.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the attending physician.
• Ensure readiness for potential emergency procedures.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Educate mothers on post-partum care and newborn care safety measures.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN licensure is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum care is preferred.
• Certification in NRP, BLS, and EFM is required (ACLS and STABLE preferred).
• Previous experience with Epic charting systems is preferred.
• Must be adaptable to rotating weekends and holidays.
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with exemptions for medical/religious reasons only.
