A healthcare facility is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist with a retail or outpatient background to provide coverage during a medical leave of absence this September. This opportunity is ideal for a reliable pharmacist interested in supporting a large assisted living community with an on-site pharmacy serving its residents. The role is located just outside of Milwaukee in West Bend, WI, and offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment with a dedicated pharmacy team.

Location: West Bend, WI (5595 County Road Z)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Shift options: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and enter prescription orders using Rx30 software (training provided)
• Perform final script reviews to ensure patient safety and accuracy
• Minimal patient counseling to support medication adherence
• Conduct opening duties for early shift or closing tasks for later shift alongside pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate daily with one full-time pharmacist and multiple pharmacy technicians to manage approximately 20-30 prescriptions and 500 electronic verifications per day

Qualifications:

• Active, clean Wisconsin Pharmacist license required
• Retail or outpatient pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable for consistent coverage
• Comfortable working with pharmacy software and performing final clinical checks
