• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations while clearly and compassionately explaining each step of the process
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Manage and operate imaging equipment properly, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Keep accurate records of procedures and ensure complete patient documentation within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about evolving ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preference for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
