Field Account Manager

We’re partnering with one of North America’s largest and fastest-growing industrial power services businesses to appoint an experienced sales professional to develop its territory around Dothan, Alabama . The business provides critical aftermarket and reliability solutions across electromechanical equipment, rotating equipment and power management , supported by a large network of service facilities across North America. This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than simply managing an existing book of accounts. You’ll have the platform, technical capability and service infrastructure of a major national business behind you, while retaining genuine autonomy over how you develop your market. The Role: You’ll take commercial ownership of the territory, combining existing account development with new business growth . Your responsibilities will include: Developing and expanding existing industrial customers Identifying and opening new accounts across the territory Building relationships with maintenance, reliability, engineering, operations and plant stakeholders Understanding customers’ equipment, maintenance and reliability challenges Working alongside technical and operational teams to develop solutions Cross-selling customers across multiple products and service lines Managing your own territory strategy, customer activity and pipeline This is a genuinely field-based sales position for someone who enjoys being out with customers and developing long-term relationships. What We’re Looking For: We’re interested in experienced outside sales, territory sales, account management or technical sales professionals who understand industrial customers. Relevant backgrounds could include: Electric Motors | Pumps | Generators | Rotating Equipment | VFDs | Switchgear | Bearings | Gearboxes | Power Transmission | Industrial MRO | Reliability | Field Services You don't necessarily need to have sold an identical portfolio. Of greater importance is someone who: Has experience selling into industrial facilities Can develop new business as well as grow existing accounts Builds strong, long-term customer relationships Has enough technical understanding to identify customer needs Is comfortable selling both products and service-based solutions Is motivated by building a territory and increasing their earnings as it grows The compensation structure is designed to reward growth without putting a ceiling on high performance .
