The Foreman ensures work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with IFSS quality standards.

- Interpret blueprints and construction documents to ensure correct installation and compliance with project requirements.
- Lead field crews, schedule onsite resources, and ensure all necessary equipment and materials are available when needed.
- Mentor and train Technicians and Helpers to meet IFSS standards for technical performance, quality, and professionalism.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (Project Managers, Operations, Service, Installation) and external customers.
- Identify field changes, potential scope gaps, or issues impacting the project; collaborate with Project Managers to support timely pricing and processing of scope changes or change orders.
- Conduct onsite installation reviews and perform quality control checks to maintain consistency with IFSS standards.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending relevant seminars, training sessions, and staying informed on industry developments and new technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of demonstrated work experience in fire alarm, access control, CCTV, or low‑voltage system installation, including hands‑on field work and lead‑level responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing onsite tasks, coordinating daily work activities, and providing direction to field teams.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA requirements applicable to installation work.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, identify field changes, and support change order development.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to train, mentor, and develop field personnel to meet IFSS technical and quality expectations.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism.
- NICET or other relevant technical certification preferred.
- Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
