Responsabilidades Instalar estructuras de alcantarillado sanitario y pluvial, así como sistemas de tuberías Los candidatos DEBEN tener experiencia en la instalación de tubería de hierro dúctil/unión mecánica con un contratista general de obras civiles pesadas de plantas de tratamiento de agua potable (WTP) o aguas residuales (WWTP) Trazar rutas de tuberías siguiendo especificaciones o planos, y coordinar los trazos con el supervisor Cortar tuberías a las longitudes requeridas Ensamblar, instalar y reparar conexiones y válvulas de tuberías subterráneas de diversos materiales y tamaños para drenajes pluviales, alcantarillado sanitario y líneas de agua potable Ayudar a alinear tuberías durante la construcción de la red Instalar equipos como bombas, válvulas, generadores, tanques, motores, ejes, transportadores y sistemas de rieles Alinear y posicionar tuberías para prepararlas para soldadura o sellado Verificar pendientes para asegurar el cumplimiento de los requisitos utilizando niveles o láseres Conectar secciones de tubería y sellar juntas mediante equipos de soldadura, cemento o pegamento Medir, cortar y realizar pruebas de fugas en tuberías Perforar y taladrar tuberías para instalar líneas o dispositivos auxiliares Cubrir las tuberías con tierra u otros materiales Nivelar y compactar la base de las zanjas utilizando compactadoras y herramientas manuales Capacitar a otros en técnicas de instalación de tuberías Otras tareas generales de mano de obra y construcción según se requiera Debe garantizar una comprensión sólida y el cumplimiento de los principios del Manual del Empleado de la empresa Conocimientos, habilidades y aptitudes Se prefiere OSHA 30; mínimo OSHA 10 preferido.
