Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the engineering department, responsible for capital project planning, AutoCAD, preparing project estimates, technical justifications, and implementation plans for capital investments. This role requires a proactive self-starter with a strong technical background, capable of leading cross-functional problem-solving teams and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities:
1. Lead and support cross-functional problem-solving teams and continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Prepare project estimates, technical justifications, and implementation plans for capital investments.
3. Utilize AutoCAD for the design and development of engineering projects.
4. Support and provide engineering expertise for capital improvement projects.
5. Support process control, equipment reliability, and operational excellence initiatives across manufacturing locations.
6. Manage and coordinate external vendors supporting engineering and technical services.
7. Contribute to capital project planning and execution to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
8. Work collaboratively with other departments to improve processes and procedures.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering trends and technologies to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with capital project planning, AutoCAD, and project estimation.
4. Demonstrated ability to lead and support cross-functional teams.
5. Strong knowledge of process control, equipment reliability, and operational excellence initiatives.
6. Experience managing and coordinating external vendors.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
11. Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus.
