Summary of Job

We are looking to hire a Supervised Behavior Visitation Specialist Master’s Level Position.  Life Support Behavioral Institute is a mental health facility serving at risk youth, children and families.  Must be a reliable and an effective communicator with availability on weekends and evenings.  Experience with at risk families also a plus.  Ability to speak Spanish also a plus.  Professional appearance and demeanor  expected.  Must be able to transport children to appointments and keep accurate client records.

Responsibilities of Job

• Perform ongoing wellness checks
• Facilitate group and individual treatments through evidence-based treatment methods
• Comply with all licensing and facility requirements
• Accurate and detailed documentation of client treatment plan
• Execute intakes and assessments
• Every client must have their own treatment plan

Qualifications of Job

• Minimum degree in the field of counseling, social work or similar experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must have current behavioral sciences field license
• Must be highly organized
• Certified CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Behavioral health specialist experience preferred
