Overview Physical Therapist, General – Roseburg, Oregon. This is a travel, temporary assignment in a school-based setting. Start date: 08/17/2026. Duration: approximately 43 weeks through June 2027. Weekly pay range: $2,490 – $2,611 per week. Shift: Days. Location type: School (serving Elementary through High School). Note: You will be paid for hours worked only; there is no guaranteed weekly hour guarantee, and school holidays/closings are not paid. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,490 – $2,611 per week Hours: Expected 40 hours per week; paid only for hours worked Contract duration: Through June 2027 (approximately 43 weeks) Shift: Days, Monday–Friday Start date: August 2026 Setting: School-based pediatric therapy (birth to 3 home visits; 3–5 preschool; general school-age services) Travel assignment: Temporary, with duties spanning home-based and school-based pediatric services Responsibilities Deliver physical therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for students in a school-based setting Implement and adjust individualized therapy plans to support students across birth-to-3 home visits and preschool (ages 3–5) programs, as applicable to the position Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and related service providers to set goals, monitor progress, and document outcomes Maintain accurate therapy documentation, maintain equipment safety, and ensure infection control and safety standards are followed Communicate progress and recommendations with families and multidisciplinary teams; participate in team meetings and case conferences as needed Adhere to applicable state licensure requirements and school district policies; complete required credentialing and ongoing professional development Requirements Active Physical Therapist license in Oregon (OR PT) or eligibility to obtain licensure Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (or equivalent) with eligibility for Oregon licensure Pediatric or school-based therapy experience preferred; ability to work with birth-to-3 home visits and preschool (ages 3–5) populations Strong communication and collaborative skills; ability to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel Ability to work in a school setting and conduct home visits as described; comfortable with documentation through standard systems Must meet any required clearances and background checks typical for school-based work and be able to obtain required certifications Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support to assist throughout the assignment Ongoing assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC Access to a network of nationwide assignments for future opportunities Support with credentialing and licensure processes as needed Opportunities for contract extension beyond the initial term Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
