\n The Chick Delivery Driver safely and carefully transports and delivers broiler chicks to our contract growers, ensuring they arrive on time and in excellent condition. Your attention to animal welfare, safe driving practices, and reliable service will directly support the success of our growers and overall operations. This role is ideal for dependable, safety focused individuals who take pride in caring for animals and delivering exceptional service on the road allowing for local, home-daily routes. This position typically earns approximately $98,000/annually. \n

\n
• Load and unload buggies and cases in a gentle and careful manner.
\n
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure the safety of your load.
\n
• Communicate with dispatchers on a regular basis.
\n
• Comply with DOT, company, biosecurity, FSMA, local, state and federal laws, policies, practices and procedures.
\n
• Perform all other relevant duties to the job.
\n

Requirements \n

\n Class A Commercial Driver's License Verifiable commercial driving experience Clean driving record\n
\n
Physical Requirements \n
\n
\n

\n
• Sit and drive for up to 10 hours.
\n
• Regularly climb in and out of truck cab throughout shift.
\n
• Work in outside environment (including inclement weather) on a daily basis.
\n
• Occasionally lift 50+ lbs.
\n
• Work around raw, live animal odors.
\n
