Warehouse Associate

1st Shift Yard AssociateU.S. Lumber, an SBP brand is currently looking for a 1st Shift Yard Associate, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, to join our Claysburg, PA facility. The majority of duties at this facility is protected from elements, under cover, or in enclosures. In this role you will be responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, transporting and otherwise handling products that come into and move out of the warehouse. Starting Pay Rate is $18/hour.Qualifications – A qualified candidate will:Safely operate forklift and other machineryBand, wrap, tape productMaintain work area and be organizedResponding to public address system announcements, directions from supervisors and managers, warning alarms from other forklift driversWalking and carrying merchandiseGreat attention to detail and accuracy - be able to stand and work on your feet throughout shift as normal routineIdentify and read tickets, SKU's, UPC labels and reportsFollow all safety proceduresWork in a team environmentBe able to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, push, pull, move, and lift to 50lbsSpecialty Building Products is the leading distributor of specialty building products in North America.
