Sales Administration Coordinator

Sales Administrative Coordinator

The Sales Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support to the sales team and key accounts. Based out of our Anoka, MN office and reporting directly to the Sales Administration Manager, this role requires day-to-day support and coordination with the DecoPac Anoka Headquarters team to follow through on customer needs.

This position will demonstrate strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize within a fast-paced environment. Must be committed to building and maintaining professional relationships with the Sales Administration team, Sales team, and external customers, and delivering excellent customer support. This role will need to utilize proficient computer skills to manage daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective responses to all customer inquiries (via email or phone) within one business day.
  • Review customer orders (via email, internet, EDI, fax) and coordinate the activities of operations to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled.
  • Anticipate customer's needs and meet their expectations as well as identify and elevate issues rapidly.
  • Support the sales team by responding to customer inquiries and maintaining accurate customer records.
  • Complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer's complaints and determining the best solution to the problem.
  • Report any food safety concerns to Supervisor for resolution.
  • Provide back?up support for co?workers when appropriate and support group goals.
  • Other duties as assigned in support of business operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 or more years' experience working in an administrative support capacity or complex customer service setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong process-oriented mindset with the ability to evaluate existing procedures and recommend improvements.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize while taking direction from multiple different sources.
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
  • CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) experience a plus.
  • DOS-based/P10 system experience a plus.

Physical and Mental Demands :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to fingers, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, and/or walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds while moving files or small packages. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Mental Demands consist of frequently interpret data, make decisions, organize, problem solve, and time management.

Work Environment :

Work is performed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounter while performing the essential functions of this position.

All full time employees working an average of thirty (30) hours or more will be eligible to enroll in a comprehensive benefit package.
