About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Strategic Finance for its new ventures, Lucie and Trove. This high-impact leadership role is pivotal in building and owning the financial model and operating plan for these ambitious projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business performance management across all financial and operational metrics, working closely with senior leadership to develop sustainable business models, and serving as a trusted thought partner on growth strategy, investments, pricing, and operational scaling. Additionally, the role involves standing up scalable finance processes, designing reporting infrastructure, and establishing financial governance practices. The VP will also be instrumental in recruiting, developing, and leading a high-performing finance organization as the business scales. Applicants for the VP of Strategic Finance role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for advanced degrees or professional designations. A minimum of 15 years' experience in analytical financial roles, with a strong background in corporate development, including M&A, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of influencing and presenting at the executive level, as well as experience in similar roles in strategy consulting, financial services, or insurance industries. Bonus points for those with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, advanced financial modeling skills, and experience supporting technology or engineering organizations. The role demands a leader who can foster a culture of accountability, analytical rigor, and operational excellence, and who is adept at managing the intersection of a mature parent company and new ventures.
