(USA) Prepared Food Lead

Position Summary As a Prepared Foods and Café Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates who create and serve meals to our members — giving them more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Prepared Foods and Café and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the club meets members’ expectations. Responsibilities Lead the prepared foods department by supervising all prepared foods functions such as café, rotisserie, and other fresh areas, facilitating rotations, and managing member needs. Maintain in‑depth knowledge of floor and back‑room operations, ensuring quality, inventory, sanitation, equipment, safety and regulatory compliance. Manage seasonality, new products, recipes and production schedules. Collaborate with associates and partners to provide necessary resources, train staff, and promote compliance. Leverage digital tools for sales planning, product quality, and associate engagement. Keep the department profitable, clean, safe, and staffed appropriately, while leading audit and compliance efforts. Act as a talent ambassador by identifying skills gaps, coaching, and sourcing new talent. Promote a culture of belonging, teamwork, integrity, customer focus, and continuous improvement. Communicate with impact and help the team adapt to change. Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments if hired. Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising a team. Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
