Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Registered Nurse PCU / Med-Surg / Telemetry

Schedule

3 shifts per week; must be available for some weekends and holidays.

Assignment Details

Requirements

• Active compact nursing license.
• At least 2 years of experience in PCU/Med-Surg/Telemetry, with at least 1 year in the last 6 months.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with telemetry/cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Familiarity with managing cardiac drips, non-invasive airway management, central line/PICC line care, and procedural sedation monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor patient conditions, including physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.

Compliance / Notes

Compliance with floating requirements may be necessary, and refusal to float may result in termination of the contract. RTO must be requested upfront. Post-offer requests may not be granted.
